Internship Nicaragua

Open Hearts Ministries believes that our interns work at the heart of our ministry. They serve as a bridge between those coming to serve on short-term mission trips and the people of Nicaragua. Working closely with the North Americans and native Nicaraguans develops spiritual and emotional maturity as interns recognize and fulfill the needs of those around them. Through an internship with Open Hearts Ministries, teenagers and young adults will truly develop the heart of a servant as they form lifelong bonds with not only those they work with but also with those they serve.

We offer a variety of options to meet your needs. We have two sessions during the summer to choose from. Our program allows each intern to minister individually through feeding centers, street evangelism, church services and many other opportunities. Our interns are given specific time during each day for quiet prayer time and individual bible study. 

The cost per session includes round trip airfare, transportation, accommodations, translators, Spanish lessons, and meals. Ministry tools are provided for the work being done during the scheduled session.

There are two "Fun Days" per session to give the interns an opportunity to see and experience the beauty of the country.
